*When the Bristol Local School System is closed or delayed due to severe weather conditions, the Bristol Public Library will operate on a 2 hour delay.
*There may be times when the library will be closed all day. Before venturing out in severe conditions, patrons are urged to call the library at 330-889-3651.
*If the library is closed, no fines will be assessed on that day.
The CLEVNET app will be down for the foreseeable future. The owner of the mobile application and the vendor that controls access to the app are different. Unfortunately, the vendor unexpectedly disabled the app, rendering it inoperable. An entirely new, next-generation mobile app for CLEVNET is in the works, but it is not yet available.
Beginning Monday, August 5th students entering grades K-12 can stop in and pick up a FREE School Supply Starter Pack. One per child. While supplies last.
A blow out DVD sale is going on in the foyer of the library. All DVDs are $1.00 each and all the proceeds go to the Friends of the Library. The Friends provide for many of the programs, including the upcoming concert on the lawn.
DayByDayOH.org is a website for young children and their families, featuring a song, a video, activities, and book recommendations for every day of the year!
Families, caregivers, educators, and librarians can use the Day By Day Ohio Family Literacy Calendar at home, library, classroom, or on the go. With a perpetual calendar featuring songs, activities, book suggestions, and videos, Day By Day Ohio supports early literacy skills and helps young children get ready for school.

True Country will perform on Sunday, August 20th at 4:00 p.m. Jim Hein and Ron Stowe will perform gospel and classic country music from the 1950s through the 1990s. Bring a blanket or lawn chair and join us on the back lawn of the library for this free performance.
On Monday, October 28th, CLEVNET will launch a new and improved library catalog experience to make finding library materials, resources, and events easier. We are changing because Aspen Discovery offers a more user-friendly, modern browsing experience, making finding the materials you want even more accessible.
Visit Miss D'Lynn on Friday, October 25th from 6:00 p.m.-7:30 p.m. during Trick or Treat at Bristol High School. The first 100 trick or treaters, ages 3-12, will receive a certificate for a free kids meal (with purchase of an adult entree) at Texas Roadhouse in Niles. All trick or treaters will receive a BOOOOK-ish treat.
